Since 2011 we have been learning about what works and what doesn’t work in terms of getting people fit and healthy. Perhaps more importantly, we have learned what works to keep people motivated and injury-free so they can stay fit for life.

About the Gym


We are building a community of people unified in their lifelong endeavour for ever-increasing fitness.


  • Want to run a 5k tomorrow?
  • Can you help me move a piano?
  • Want to try white water rafting/rock climbing/some other sport? 


These are all questions to which a member of our facility could reply, “sure”. The goal is broad and general fitness, designed to prepare you for a long life of activity and fun.

About the Clinic

Step 1:

What do you want?

What can we help you achieve?  Knowing what you want out of this relationship is crucial to our being able to provide the right service

  • Are you injured and want to regain your previous health/fitness?
  • Improved your performance with your given sport/activity/work?
  • Improve and Maintain the health of your joints, muscles and nervous system?
  • Care throughout pregnancy to reduce discomfort?

Step 2:

Assessment

We can't know which way to go unless we know where we are starting.  We'll do some, or all of the following to find out.

  • A full history including your past and current health status
  • Insights on how you move - both with frequency (desk worker vs. labourer, busybody vs. sedentary), and intensity (sports, activities, exercise)
  • Info on how you eat (frequency, quality, quantity)
  • Addressing how you think (limiting beliefs, self-defeating narratives, etc.)
  • Mechanical assessment (Range of motion, orthopaedic and neurological testing)
  • Thorough fitness assessment

Step 3:

Action Plan

Now What?  We work together to make changes and adjust the way you eat, move and think to improve your health, performance and longevity.

  • By choosing some suggested changes to your diet, lifestyle, or passive care options, we can change the way your DNA is expressed 
  • Through these changes your internal environment has no choice but to result in some genes being up-regulated, and some being down-regulated.
  • This means less pain and inflammation, less mental fog and fatigue, more energy, more focus, and ultimately you will look, feel and perform significantly better.

Can I start right away?

Absolutely! The consult can happen concurrently while we meet for your first Assessment Session. We just want to offer a no pressure situation for folks who want to come check the place out and meet us, without committing right away - But we also love people who know what they want!

What's the price?

Our gym will combine classes and one on one training to help folks progress safely and efficiently, while also getting them accustomed to, and part of the community. As you can imagine, no two people are born the same or have had the same athletic background, injuries, mobility limitations, etc. So our memberships need to be flexible to accommodate everyones needs.

I'm already fit - how do I start?

We'd still like to meet with you to go over your experiences, your goals, what you've learned, and to go over basic competency in the movements. We need to get to know you to help train you best. You may find doing some personal training sessions will boost your learning curve as well!
